Love Note 1.22.24

From the youngest ages we are asked to do all sorts of thing that others believe are best for us.

Mostly this is all very well intentioned. Adults feel responsible to guide kids to schools, opportunities and work that will advantage them in some way.

Everybody has always wanted you to 'get ahead.'

The question is though, ahead of what? And at what cost?

We get so used to doing what's expected of us that we often don't even know what we believe.

Your experiment for the day: Take a few moments today to think back to something that you used to really love to do but don't any more. Why did you stop? Maybe it's time to start again.
