Modern living contains a lot of the sameness each day.

That's why we have idioms like, 'it's a grind' or 'same 'ol, same 'ol' or 'same shit, different day'.

Though our nervous systems can be calmed by predictability, our brains crave novelty.

The sweet spot between this internal push-pull is different for each of us and a great place to experiment with what's true for you.

It's another piece of becoming the YOUest.

Your experiment for the day: We are drawn to new things every day, but we mostly ignore them because we are so busy. Today, notice what you notice. If you have the space and energy for it, go deeper.
