There is a voice inside of you that knows exactly what's best for you.

But there's an endless stream of voices outside of you saying you don't.

And we've mostly been conditioned to listen to those outside voices. But this is a form of self-abandonment.

We learned it as children as a way to stay safe and it often follows us into adulthood. Recognizing the pattern is a huge step back on the path to the YOUest you.

Your experiment for the day: Notice where you place your own needs and desires behind those of others today.
