We have a very low tolerance for mistakes in our culture.

Which is a big mistake.

The only way we can truly learn is to be free to fail. Over and over again. Much like what Thomas Edison said “I have not failed 700 times. I’ve succeeded in proving 700 ways how not to build a lightbulb.”

Giving yourself (and others) the grace and space to make mistakes, fail, and start again is necessary to becoming the YOUest.

Your experiment for the day: Notice when you make a mistake today and if you automatically engage in a lot of negative self talk. Remember that this is conditioning from the outside world--not truth.

Go be the YOUest today!
