Love Note 3.30.24 💚

We are all immersed in an abusive system, so we've come to think that's just how life is, has always been and will always be.

But that's just a story. We have the capacity to change stories. In fact, we do it all the time. Just read a book and then watch the movie.

We have a story right now that money is the most valuable thing. When in fact money itself is just a story. Value is an ever-changing story.

The ONLY truly valuable thing, and the ONLY thing we are each given at birth, is time. And, at least at this point in our evolution, the value of time is fixed.

'Spending' time feels real because it is. That ridiculous meeting? Traffic jam? Time on hold? We're never going to make that half hour of our life back.

Most of us trade our fixed valued time for fluctuating valued money every day. It's why we are working harder yet we're poorer, sicker and lonelier than ever.

Money will never be more valuable than your time.

Your experiment for the day: Notice all the places you are giving up your time in order for other people to make money. For most of us, this is two places—work and social media. Just practice bringing this time/money exchange to your conscious awareness.
