Rest is a revolutionary act.

There are so many forces telling us to work longer and harder.

There's a reason it's called Human Resources. You're being mined for your labor every moment.

But you are a limited resource. Even if you dig the work you're doing, you'll do it better if you allow yourself to rest.

If you DON'T love your work, you REALLY need to rest.

Trust me. Nothing bad is going to happen if you take a 15 minute break. In fact, something good might happen.

Your experiment for the day: Set a reminder for 10a, 1p and 3p today. At each point take 20 seconds to do an internal check. What are you feeling like? What's your energy level? Sometimes we don't even know how tired we really are.
