We're a very 'take charge' culture. We're taught from a young age that we have to go out there and take the bull by the horns and make things happen.

But what if the best strategy is actually the exact opposite?

What if we allowed life to come to us and we learned to surrender to whatever it had on offer?

What if we stopped fighting to 'get ahead'? And what if we stopped resisting our deeply innate desire to stop pushing so hard?

The only way to find out is to run the experiment.

Your experiment for the day: Notice some place today where you are working hard and resisting change. Consider changing tactics and try a bit of surrender.
